'06 Silverado headlight problem

Low beams and DRL's aren't working in my dad's truck. High beams and parking lights work fine, DRL's and low beam headlights do not work, neither with 'auto' lights or with the switch turned to 'on'.

All the fuses and relays are fine, anyone know what the issue could be?

I assume they're dual filament bulbs... any chance they both burnt out at the same time?

Otherwise it could possibly be bad contacts in the stalk? or do GM vehicles have a separate control?

Wouldn't doubt if they were both burnt out. We have the same truck at work, and it never fails that when one goes out, the other does within 3 days.

Probably both bulbs out as states above, seems to be common with GMs.
