I'm looking for a 3/16" x 1" Chicago screw.

Only went to Home Depot and they have 8/32" x whatever's but they don't have different sizes.

(I've already attempted to drill the holes bigger and that's not in my realm of skills, nor do I have the tools for it.)

Thanks!

Home Depot, Rona are useless when you need anything but basic. Bolt supply house have all the inventory out on the floor in bulk bins, much easier to browse and find what you need, rather than flipping through a catalogue and trying to deal with counter staff at Calgary Fasteners.

Are you sure it's 3/16"x1"? 3/16" dia. is like a #10 screw, usually followed by thread size, 32? then length, so it will be labeled #10-32x1" or whatever.

The 8/32" that you saw is probably #8-32 screw, 8/32" is 1/4". :nut:

Just bring some nut with you to try the thread on at the store, no joke.

Yea I already tried the 8/32 (1/4) at Home Depot. Doesn't fit most of my keys so I wanna go down 1/16 to 3/16"
