Taking delivery of my new car tomorrow and I want to get it home as clean and rock chip free as possible, if anyone has a truck and car trailer and can help me, I can offer you compensation for your troubles!

If not I'll bring a huge roll of painters tape and tape up the entire front of my car and drive it home.

Is this going to be a summer only car or do you just want to avoid rock chips until you're able to install a clear bra?

If you have AMA you could just tow it home.

It's actually both, it's my new summer car and also I am having my 3M guy at work do 3M later in the spring so I just need to get it home. I don't have AMA sadly.

call a tow company with a flat deck that you can trust and supervise.

Do you really save money doing all this towing outsourcing vs. getting someone to go to the dealer and do the 3M job?

My cost for what I want for 3M through work is roughly $650 vs $1500 elsewhere.

I got the first three done for $900 at my dealership.

Not sure how the last three justify the extra $600... RIP-OFF

Which is precisely why I am having it done by my guys at work...

Have you tried getting a mobile crew brought to the dealership? If not, good luck with the trailer :)

Do they have 2013s left or did you have to pick up a 2014?

Various 2013s, chose a 2014 because I wanted a specific color and also negotiated the same deal (cost plus $500).

Not so much a project for the first few years, but eventually yes!
