I found an 83 280z turbo targa 60k original miles mint

Any idea what something like that could be worth?

83 is a Nissan ZX.
Datsun is from 69-79.

I would gander a few thousand depending on the condition. Not very desirable.

I had an 82 280ZX. Fuck i really miss the car and regret selling it. Bitchin betty was awesome and notified me if i was low on fuel, any doors were open etc.

My brother's first car was a 72 240Z that he bought for $400 back in '96. Really nice car, no rust, steel bumpers for a bit of back alley during snow storms. Was totalled when some kid stole a Bronco II and smashed into it.

I had a '73 Datsun 610 Wagon!! Pearl white, tinted windows all around. Ooooo.... :thumbsup:

But my all time favourite back then was the '69-72 Datsun 510, lowered with a 283 dropped into it. Roll cage, fibreglass fenders.....

My father has talked about the glorious 240z since I can remember as a kid, it stemmed from growing up in East Malaysia in the 60s where everyone had a base puny engined Ford Cortina, Mitsu Colt 600 or first gen Rolla etc. Then the son of a government official imported the first S30 240z to East Malaysia and they all got rides in it, I guess at the time it was the equivalent of sitting in an LFA almost and going for a rip down the beach front. Independent suspension, pretty 'powerful' engine, amazing new body style. Basically was like a legend this guy, until the next one got imported a year later lol.

Then the 'scene' exploded there in the 70s when the Bluebird SSS(510 here), C10 Skylines, 1st Gen Celicas came out.

Really want to find one for my dad within the next few years, which my brother and I will be pitching on together for one of his birthdays.

For the S30 body style yes. After that the ZX is the S130 chassis.

You better start looking now. A solid S30 is super rare to find. Most are rusted to shit, or not maintained. These cars will nickel and dime you, even if it's in good condition, just due to age.

And right now the S30 is going through the "initial D" tax. Prices are starting to rise. I love my S30.

There's a 510 I know of that's getting a transplanted L28 into it.... Lol.
