Evidently I cannot adequately use "search" on this forum. If anyone can point me in the direction of a "lease vs finance" thread(s), that would be most appreciated.

bottom right of the search page has a box to adjust your search time frame, default is 3months and newer...try that

It's funny seeing the old threads where I liked leasing because it allowed me to afford a car I couldn't afford lol.

Here's a more recent one with some examples and breakdowns I did comparing cash vs lease vs finance vs bubble finance.

It's all a game. You need to know what you're buying the car for (keep 10 years vs enjoy a few year) then break down all the numbers in each scenario to see if you can "beat the bank".

Haha no worries I've given up using forum search tools since most suck and using google directly blows them out of the water

for some reason i think that bmw will have a few "excessive wear" charges on it when its returned :rofl:
