Does your iTunes have an emormous amount of duplicates?

Mine did, with 10+ gigs worth. I searched high & low for a solution, and found this simple script.

"DeDuper" http://samsoft.org.uk/iTunes/scripts.asp#DeDupe

Simply select the EXACT duplicates, by pressing and holding SHIFT, then click on "VIEW" in the menu-bar, and select "Show Exact Duplicate Items"

Then, open & run the script you just downloaded. You won't notice anything for a couple minutes while it compiles. It will then give you an option to delete the duplicates found.

I just did it, and it worked perfectly, and figured this would be handy for others.

Sounds fun, when you have 10+ gigs/ 2000 songs.
Click. Delete.
Click. Delete.
Click. Delete.

Oh, and hold SHIFT when you press "VIEW" on your menu bar.

It'll present an option, that you, theken, haven't seen before;

"Show Exact Duplicate Items" vs, "Show Duplicates" ;)
