cant open beyond from my pc on windows 7

everytime i try to click on "car forums" or any other tab, it redirects me to yahoo with this error.

The requested URL "http://forums.beyond.ca/adimages/" cannot be found or is not available. Please check the spelling or try again later.

now im using windows 7 with IE for it, but it seems to have just started recently. right now im using chrome and it works fine, but thats not the point, i dont want to switch between browsers if i dont have to.

whats the deal? anyone heard this? probably not since no one uses IE lol

It might be an infection. Try this first:

Control Panel>Internet Options>Advanced. Now click on "Restore Advanced Settings", then click on "Reset".

Definitely some sort of infection. That URL doesn't exist on our server, nor is it referenced anywhere from our end.

Check your proxy settings under Internet Options

If the reset doesn't help, run Combofix.

Save it to your Desktop, disable your antivirus, then run Combofix.


Don't use the computer until you see the Combofix log. At that point, restart the computer, enable your antivirus, then remove Combofix by clicking on your start circle and typing in combofix /uninstall. Note the space between the x and the /.
