Got this integra GSR with a billion miles for 1000 bucks.

When I bought it it had:
14" steelies with snow tires
Egay short shifter
"Remus" catback with a gay muffler
DC sports header
AEM intake
Some random 23mm rear sway bar, but with a broken end link
Type R strut bar
And inexplicably lowering springs only in the front. Fucking lazy honda kids.

Budgeted another $1000 for wheels, tires, suspension refresh, and engine refresh (hone bores, re-ring and valve seals), with the goal of being able to take it to track days and hunt down other cars.

Cut off the gay muffler and straight piped it. Welded the muffler onto detail guy at work's car and he polished the teg in exchange.

Got a pile of FREE parts from a parts car I helped tear down. Stock shifter and knob, battery, horn, Hawk HPS front pads, front motor mounts. Also bought that set of wheels for 100 bucks, need to strip them down and re paint them.

Put those Hawk HPS' in the front and some napa ceramics in the rear with new rotors all around. Stops nicely now.

Stole the caulk gun from the windshield guys at work and filled those mounts with polyurethane. No more floppy motor, no more missed shifts.

Cut up that stock shifter and added length below the pivot, welded it back together. Custom stock short throw, yo.

As of tonight I have those 15s all stripped down ready for paint. Gonna paint them and install them this weekend. Got a line on some fresh 205/50R15 falken RT615s for 100 bucks, those will go one in summer.

Picked up a P06 ECU from the junkyard a while back and ordered some stuff from Xenocron.

Dusted off my old electronics skills and installed:

Chip kit
VTEC circuits
Intake butterfly circuits

Started to have trouble shifting about two weeks ago. Decided the problem was the clutch itself not disengaging for some reason, tranny and hydraulics seemed fine. Ordered a clutch kit and parked the car, drove the Civic until it arrived.

So couple days ago I went and replaced it, took the old pp/disc off and it was almost down to the rivets.

Flipped the disc over and a spring and piece of the hub fell out. OH THATS WHY IT WAS ACTING WEIRD.

I've been revving THAT to 8000rpm. Caught it just in time before it caused any damage.

New disc/pp installed. Just the cheapest one I could find. Did rear main while I was in there as well.

That is always fun, I broke 2 springs out of the clutch that was in my Prelude when I bought it.

The Exedy that I replaced it with has been attached to 3 different engines now, and all the way from 17 second passes to 12 second passes, and around 60K miles. Not bad for an OEM replacement!
