View Full Version : Justin Bieber Arrested for DUI, Drag Racing Lamborghini in Miami

Pop star Justin Bieber was arrested early Thursday morning in Miami for reportedly drag racing his rented Lamborghini and for driving under the influence.

The 19-year-old was picked up by police in Miami Beach in the early hours of Thursday morning after being spotted out at a club Wednesday night, according to E! Online. He reportedly failed a field sobriety test.

Details on the arrest are scant, but Bieber has been making headlines in South Florida since last week, when he reportedly ordered $75,000 in single dollar bills for a strip club jaunt, according to Fox News.

His trip also sparked an internal police investigation in Opa-Locka after the Canadian singer received an unauthorized escort from two marked cop cars for a night out on Monday, CBS Miami reported.

Thursday's arrest isn't Bieber's first run-in with the law. Earlier this month he was accused of trespassing on his neighbor's property and throwing eggs at the home. As part of the investigation, detectives raided the singer's Calabasas, Calif., mansion and reportedly made one drug-related arrest.

In November, Bieber was accused of spraying graffiti in Brazil and last year he was photographed smoking what appeared to be a joint. Neighbors have also previously complained to police about him speeding recklessly through the residential streets of his gated community.

So if he is convicted, doesn't he get deported and is no longer eligible to enter the United States? I'm highly doubtful this will happen since I'm sure he has incredibly smart lawyers on his side.

It makes sense to me, if you wanna drive a different supercar every day of the week it would be a waste to buy them all and have to pay someone to store and maintain them.

Just rent them each day and not give a fuu about anything.

When you get arrested for DUI and they tow 'your' car, that's one less thing to worry about.

The report I heard this morning that the DUI was drug related, not alcohol and the "drag racing" was estimated 50 - 60 MPH in a 30 MPH zone. I guess that's close to double the limit, maybe in a residential area (don't actually know). You have to know they guy is done when my 9 year old daughter thinks he's a douche.

Man I wouldn't mind so much if his indiscretions were respectable, but getting in trouble for throwing eggs at your neighbor's house and spray painting hotel rooms? That's just embarrassing for Canadians.

The search warrant they executed though was for surveillance footage of their egging, and didn't count for drugs. That's what I heard.

Like davidI said, the kid is worth millions and is basically being a kid with millions. Is it astronomically stupid of him? Oh yeah. But I'm 30 and I can't say I would be doing anything different if that was me.

Apparently the police lied. The dealership had the car fitted with gps and a speedometer. He was doing under the speed limit when they claimed he was drag racing. Apparently his BAC was below the legal limit as well.

Those videos are hardly evidence, and more than likely video after the fact.

For instance:

You do something stupid, donuts, speeding, whatever, you are having fun, when....

FUCK, COP!

You immediately slow down, stop the douchbaggerery, hoping the cop didn't see it. You become a complete angel.

The cop sees 2 high end exotic sports cars doing all this crap. knows he has to pull them over, but what happens if they decide to take off? OK, lets call for backup and wait for them to arrive to start the traffic stop, in the meanwhile, lets run the plates. crap, rental cars, less incentive to the drivers to keep them in good condition.

Lets follow them while we wait for backup. (chances are that they don't know they are pulling Beiber over, he is not the RO on the car)

so, the have a bit of a slow speed pursuit while the cops co-ordinate themselves.

we all know how long it takes cops to respond to calls, so this is more than likely the scenario.

Would be interesting if if TMZ could get say a full hour's worth of GPS data before the pull over.

anyways, there is my conspiracy theory. TMZ is going to do whatever they can to sell more of their stories and generate more web traffic. If you believe them, there are some other "reputable" papers in the checkout lane at the grocery store you should check out.

and the comment that they are out to get Beiber? why? what is to gain from it? does he taunt the local sherrifs, wearing a cowboy hat, trucking coors across the Texarkana line with east bound and down blaring on the stereo?

No doubt, the celebrities who have killed their wives, beaten their children, or associated with terrorists are small potatoes compared to Bieber the limo-driver beater. I mean come on, he drove very slightly over the speed limit in the middle of the night while impaired by the equivalent of one beer! I think the max penalty is death, but he will probably only get 30-40 years.

Perhaps I didn't state myself correctly. I'm talking in the context of annoying celebrities who I don't think should truly have celebrity status because they're just plain annoying. People I bitch about because I hate the way they carry themselves and how they treat others. And while I truly do hate his antics, it is a "light" hate. Like, I would love to tell him to his face he's an annoying twat.

But all that is entirely different than how I would feel about someone like, say, Mike Vick or OJ Simpson. That's just an entirely different level of hate.

I pity him as he's on the road to becoming the next Vanilla Ice - except Vanilla Ice picked himself up and became successful outside of the music industry. I don't see Bieber having the same future.

Lol, not even close. Vanilla Ice was never worth $150 million.

He's on his way to being the next Britney Spears.

Because he's trying to channel 90's tupac in that picture?

You saw a white kid in a hat and a watch and you thought "90s Tupac!" Alllllrighty then. :nut:

Vanilla Ice was a mediocre success at best. Bieber has a brazillion dollars and doesn't need to work another day in his life. I'd say he doesn't give two shits about being "successful outside of the music industry."

I don't like his music or even his general demeanor, but there's no denying the guy's a fucking phenomenon and is outrageously successful in his chosen profession.

Please see picture. How crazzzzyyy to make that comparison. He's a rich suburban white kid trying to act all urban.

It's not what you make, it's what you spend. Just ask Mike Tyson or Dennis Rodman or Jose Canseco. Bieber is already surrounded by money grubbing "friends." I predict he will be bankrupt in under 10 years :nut:

He's jumping the shark though at 19 (almost 20!)..he's soon to be expired goods for that market. Does anyone here remember "JTT?"
