Got invited tonight to the Royal Oak Lexus sneak peek, looks to be a pretty cool setup they have going there. Didn't take long to find the place (their Google Maps directions sucks), it's located between the Honda and Toyota dealership right on the main road there. It's still heavily under construction, but got to see some of the things they're planning. They have a TV lounge, and a manicure and pedicure station being built right now to give owners a spa experience while they wait for your car to get serviced. Huge service bays and detail bays as well.

Royal Oak Lexus has generously donated a VIP Detailing Package for one lucky beyonder. All you have to do to enter is just be part of the discussion in this thread. We will choose a winner when the new dealership opens. Oh, and you don't need to own a Lexus to enter or use the detail package.

Some pics from tonight:

Doesn't Lexus pick up and drop off your car for free anyways?

Love the Lexus tool boxes. Also love the fact this Lexus dealership actually has some size. The one in Deerfoot Meadows is small as fuck, over shadowed by ALL their neighbors.

Pretty common most new dealerships.

The boxes are generally shitty compared to mac/snapon boxes but they do the trick.

I have a box supplied for me at Toyota.

Not sure what is so impressive about this buildings interior, then again I see some of the nicest things going up for construction in Calgary on a daily basis so that possibly ruins it.

"Taking the Lexus in for an oil change"
"Didn't it just get one last week?"

One thing I like about Lexus showrooms, plenty of elbow room and a sales department that gives you room to look on your own. I was in the Volvo dealer a month ago, other than the sales person I was the only non asian on the floor. What is mandarin for "soccer mom"? The waiting area was full of 'em. It took me a few seconds to make the connection, too bad a Chinese company didn't by Saab as well.

That's BS. Whenever I go there for servicing, it's like being in IKEA.
Full of white people who loves to alpine ski or they don't want to miss their tea time.

This city needs a NW Subaru dealership as well as the two existing ones are both a joke IMO. Calgary Subaru feels like going to a small used car dealership.
