Edmonton Men's Hockey - Subs and Pick-Up

I know this is a Calgary-based forum, but 780Tuners has gone downhill so badly I figure there are likely just as many, if not more, informative Edmonton users here on Beyond.

Long story short, my work has taken me to Edmonton for roughly six months and I would like to continue playing hockey while I'm here, if possible.

I've searched, but I can't seem to find anything regarding teams needed subs and there's very little in the way of shiny or pick-up.

Anyone here play in an Edmonton league and can offer any advice? I know it's mid-season and an awful time to be looking to join a team.

They are registering for their summer league that starts in April or May I believe. You can register as an individual and they will place you on a team. I think you get around 15 games if i recall correctly. As far as shinny... just ask any of your coworkers there are usually tonnes of games that go on!
