Trying to watch the Olympics this week and I can't stream from NBC here in the US because I don't have the cable package that includes it. The reason why I'm trying to stream from CBC instead of one of the free streaming sites is cause I'd like to watch in HD. Everything I've tried so far of isn't working, can someone guide me through this?

I've downloaded a few VPN programs such as spotflux and also followed this guide: http://computers.tutsplus.com/tutorials/how-to-use-vpn-on-your-mac--mac-46053

using this website as a server: http://www.justfreevpn.com/

TIA

I use Media Hint (Firefox add-on) to watch American Netflix and to stream from US network sites that are blocked. Try it to see if it works the other way around.

Use the chrome add on, Hola unblocker. Used it on my mac to stream american, uk netflix... Also works on sites such as hulu. Should work with yours. I would've tried it but I don't have the mac atm...

Edit:
Also, you can switch countries too! for example, you can select australia, new zeland and a few others.
