hey, my friend has a 2009 BMW X5 that needs the windshield replaced. When he talked to BMW stealership they told him that the windshield has a "high gloss reflective coating" on it, and that the aftermarket windshields do NOT have it.
Does anyone know what this is? Does it have any safety features? or is it purely cosmetic?
