- Has only been driven 2,000 km's since purchased.
- No accidents.
- Legendarily reliable 190-HP 4.0 I6 engine.
- Automatic transmission with the Selec-Trac transmission, which allows for full-time 4x4 driving regardless of surface.
- All servicing/mechanical work/lift kit installation etc.(see below) carried out by Modern Motors, recognized specialists in 4x4/off-road vehicles.
- Exterior has some dings and scrapes, though is in otherwise good condition with minimal rust.
- Interior is in very good condition, with the exception of a small hole in the driver's side seat.
Work Done:
- Recent compression test on engine reveals no dead cylinders and good compression.
- Brand new Rubicon Express 4.5" Super-Flex lift kit.15x8 steel wheels with 31x10.5 Wrangler Duratrac LT tires (includes spare).
- Custom rear drive shaft
- All new O2 sensors.
- Rear brakes completely re-done.
- Front drive shaft slip joint replaced.
- New rear axle seals.
- New distributor cap, rotor and wiring.
- New front end ball jointsNew air conditioning lines and recharge.
- New battery.
- Aftermarket transmission cooler installed.
- Differential fluid checked and good.
- Transmission fluid checked and good.
- Oil changed.
I bought this vehicle in the summer of 2013 from the original owner in original unmodified condition. To my knowledge it has not experienced collision or other significant damage.
Since then Modern Motors has thoroughly inspected the vehicle, replaced several parts, installed a lift kit with new suspension and drive train components, installed new wheels and tires, and brought regular maintenance items up to date.
This jeep drives and performs equally well on summer roads and dirt as it does on snow and ice. It has not been subjected to hard off road use.
Priorities have changed and a few things have come up that mean I'm now looking to sell this. Perfect as an off-road vehicle, winter alternative or all-round commuting vehicle.
