Wow.

Wow.

Wow.

I'm completely impressed with the first episode of season 2. It runs with big dogs like Breaking Bad, True Detective, and a select few others. This was probably the single best hour of TV in recent times, and I say that with full confidence even considering the company I already mentioned. The surprise factor involved by all involved in the production of this show is CIA level secrecy - how the big spoiler didn't get out early is beyond me. Rarely does TV raise my pulse as this episode did.

A great sophomore season to an already great show.

Netflix has arrived IMO. HBO, Netflix, and perhaps AMC - I could live with them being the only TV producers out there. But Netflix has thrown down the gauntlet with this one.

So season 2 started?!?!

I love HBO, watched many of their series. I haven't missed a single episode of Boardwalk Empire.

This Netflix series has to be my favorite TV series of all time. Season one was incredible. Kevin Spacey is the fucking man.

Is it just the first episode or have all of them been released? There was an ad on NatGeo last night that said all episodes were up. Maybe just for US NetFlix?

As is Netflix's custom, the entire season is available for viewing so whether you want to watch it all in one sitting, skip directly to the last episode and work back from there, or take it one week at a time old-school style, it's all up to you.

I use a VPN to get US Netflix access like many others, I can check Canada if you want FraserB later today, but yes, to answer your question, on both Sweden and US (Sweden only had 1750 bps where as US had 5800 Super HD so I switched at 1 am when season 2 was released), all episodes are available, and I'm currently on 7.

SO hard to not release any spoilers, all I can do is recommend all Beyond to watch it, it's absolutely fantastic. I loved season 1, it wasn't perfect, but strong, but season 2 has surpassed almost every other show currently on save True Detective IMO.

So a huge win for Netflix, they should change their name this week to WinFlix, they deserve it.

Thanks Gman, looks like Canadian has it so US will have it as well. Gonna wait until I'm back from up north and watch it all.

Only 3 episodes in, but they've done it again.

Totally hooked.

Wife didn't expect the plot twist , but once the clean slate happened, it was only a matter of time.

Was glad season 2 started the way s1 of the uk version ended, the season was good but the last two episodes felt really rushed. I was kind of hoping they would draw that last part out for another season :dunno:

Can't see why not. There's a bunch of loose ends lying around. The prostitute, the hacker, tusk, the journalist in jail, the Chinese, etc

Yes, there is a third season, scheduled for release in Feb 2015. Although apparently the production company has maxed out their tax breaks in their state and are threatening to move production, so who knows how that will impact the timing.

This is definitely one of my must watch shows. I hope they can keep this style of drama interesting for the next 1-3 seasons. Mid-way through next season is when a lot of shows jump the shark because the same old trick gets old (ie. 24). They need to up their game like breaking bad did in season 3.

Bump!

For whoever that aren't up to date, the third season is now on Netflix. Watched the first two episodes and liked them. Will continue watching it. Forgot the whole season 2 plot with that girl that Doug was chasing around. Anyone wanna remind me why and what was happening?

Just read this: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/style-blog/wp/2015/02/26/what-happened-on-house-of-cards-last-season-heres-a-reminder/

I watched all 13 episodes on Friday night and Saturday, and I was hoping to have some self-control. Ugh.
