Help! Truck stolen in Shawnessy Area

Hello everyone,

My truck was stolen last night from the Boston Pizza parking lot. I went out to start my truck came back in to clear up my tab and no less than 10 minutes after the car was gone. Yes, probably my fault that I started it and came back inside but didn't think anything would happen in that time frame and my truck in plain site of the truck.

I'm hoping to use the power of Beyond to help locate it.

Anyways, if you guys see my truck or parts from it surface, Please let me know or the police know.

it's a 2011 Toyota Tacoma Magnetic Grey quad cab short box

Black soft topper
Avid off road front and rear bars
Satoshi grille
And has Lithium Autosport stickers on both sides of the truck bed.

It's a pretty unique vehicle so I'm hoping that it's spotted easily.

Yes under comprehensive coverage subject to your deductible.
Hopefully you reported it to the police already.

Insurance covers a wide vareity of losses that are preventable by the owners.
I recall one insurance advert a while back that was saying your home insurance would cover your jewelry is you lost it.

I'd feel pretty weird filing a claim for that, but I suppose if my wife lost her engagement ring, I'd call it in and ask.

my old policy had a "get up and walked away" clause. I asked the agent to clarify that for me, and basically it was coverage for items that disappeared for no reason, just "here one moment, and gone the next".

I literally laughed at the agent, and said how were they not getting screwed by this and that it sounded like a great way to get a new TV every so often, even with a premium increase. She made it sound like it rarely got used... :dunno:

But yeas, back on topic, insurance will cover the theft, keys in it or not. I was under the impression that insurance companies would refuse coverage if the vehicle was running, or you left a spare key in the console or whatever, but after talking with a few different agents over the years, and Masked Bandit on here, they do cover it. You may have a lot of explaining to do, but in the end, I have not been able to find anyone that actually had coverage denied for a theft of a vehicle, unless there were some bullshit or fraud involved.

Yes my insurance will be covering it. I didn't really have much to explain just had to answer the questions on there list.

Just got a call about the truck being found!!! It was found in Strathmore. Apparently no damage. I haven't gone to see it yet. (Just got the call) If there's any damage will be sure to post some pics! :D
