I was thinking something close to that, but I am Mercedes-Retarded.

What I really want to know is how fast this thing is; 0-60 and 1/4mile.

0-60 is about 4.6 probably better.

Not sure about 1/4 mile but I think mid 12's

with the 493 horses I thought the CL55 had the 493hp and SL55 had somewhere lower (I'm pretty damn sure they have/had slightly different tuned engines from AMG) but this may have been 2002 cars b/c I have the 2002 SALES training manuals (Listing everything on each car) and remember this 100%. the car is an SL 55 AMG but it's about the lowest edition you can get since it has no panorama roof and magma red , which are the more basic sl55's.

Nope, CL55 and SL55 have pretty much the same output, it's the 600 engines that have about the same HP but about 60ft/lbs torque more.

E55 got detuned a bit I believe, but CL55 S55 SL55 all have the same engine to my knowledge

Nope, C55, SLK55, and CLK55 all the the engine with lower output than the higher end models at 367hp and 510 nm of torque, not sure what that works out to in ft/lbs.

The C55, CLK 55 and SLK55 have the same engine sans supercharger. Magma red does not mean it's a basic model because Black and Silver (majority of SL55's) are a no charge color like the red. Pano roof is an option though I don't know how you can see that this car doesn't have it....

Just thinking about the 516 ft/lbs of torque just makes me shudder! But the CL/SL/S and E have the same torque from the engine with the E having 24 less horsepower than the other 3.

The E was slightly de tuned so that it's performance doesn't upstage the bigger, more flagship cars like the S55, CL55 and SL55. With a little modding, the E can be bumped quite a bit, quite easily....like it needs it, LOL

Dood, lol you are a N00b in Benz world...;) Those are the factory AMG wheels, DTM style and quite hip, the only reason to change em is for larger sizing (they are 18's, you gotta rock 20's on the new SL)
