eau claire ticket

Hey guys i got a damn ticket from imperial parking at eau claire the other day. I just parked and went in to get my buddy who had a few drinks and i came back not even 5 minutes and the guy left a ticket. Now should i even bother paying? the car insurance is under my dad's name and i'd rather not mess up his credit (if it gets affected in any way) by not paying. what should i do?
