Crowchild southbound south of 33rd - that right lane is almost 2'(like hood on civic) deep.

Gonna be a massive pileup there soon... 311 is 'aware' of the situation

There was a truck dead in that puddle between 2:30 and 3 when I passed by.

:) I hope you bought the water fording package for that hummer :)

Yeah, it's deep... Not something you want to hit at 80...

I should go back with a camera and setup on currie barracks - probably get some awesome youtube hits for the carnage that'll follow :)

If I was in town I'd be there in a second.

Take the Jeep through and lure unsuspecting people into following me.

How long have you lived here? You don't need to lure them... Oh hey - The center and left lanes are slamming on the brakes - I better do a california and hit the right lane... *Splash* "shit!"

That was the red prelude going winshield deep behind me - pretty sure his sunroof was open too! Yes Left and center lanes are slamming on the brakes - largely due to large walls of water flying due to people hitting the lake at 80 - pass on the right, always best option :)

West bound Memorial near 14th was getting rather deep in the right lane.

There's this puddle that has slowly made it's way from the curb now engulfing the entire road in Coventry near the Husky gas station.

I drenched a pedestrian near Market Mall. Nothing I could do, by the time I saw the puddle there was no time to slow down, car beside me so I couldn't change lanes. It was a wall of water, I was surprised to see him still on his feet after.

Was that from the Waipourous run a few years ago? I vaguely remember a group of ATVers sitting on the banks when we crossed.

It was on the West side of the mall. The car in front of me quickly changed lanes to avoid it, leaving me no option, I'd like to say I laughed, but honestly I felt sorry for the guy. I was driving my work truck and it was an absolute tidal wave!

Now having said that there was obvious signs that other cars had caused the same type of situation and dude had earphones in and was staring at the ground, as a pedestrian you gotta keep your head on a swivel this time of year.

Oh I dont think you'll have to worry about him wearing ear phones after that one, even if they did still work.
