Me and my gf are thinking about buying a suv each. We are not going to get them until the 2005's come out, so we have lots of time to decide yet. I really like the look of the Range Rover while she likes the Porsche Cayenne S. I was wondering what you guys thought? what would you buy?

i personally hate range rovers and feel that they look like boxes on wheels, but the porsches are really nice, they are basically like a porsche just a little bigger, i'd go porsche all the way, both are pretty :bigpimp: though

Range Rover has always set the standard for SUVs, and will continue to do so for a long time. It's just status on wheels. Definately a HOT ride too.

save some cash and get the FX45!!!!!!! or the cayenne. It is the Cayenne turbo right? What about the Toureg?

IMO the Cayenne is overrated.

I would go with a VW V10 Touareg or Benz AMG G-Wagen

Two 2005 SUV's? You guys must be loaded.

Nissan Xterra is still my favorite SUV above anything else. It's no luxury truck but it is everything I could ever want from a 4 x 4.

No doubt .. the Range Rover is the BEST .. and most luxury .. and you will love it .. it drives and handle so nice too .. and the interior is better then any other SUX ! ( yes, even better then X5 ) and the price is good too ! ( as Range Rover standard)

However .. don't even think of selling it ! it will cost you $120k to buy .. and in 3 yr .. will probaby worth $50K !

Cayenne .. I never like them .. but .. hey .. It is a Porsche !

however .. it is a VW too ..

I still can't believe that Porsche made a SUV .. :(
If you r going to buy the Cayenne ..buy the Turbo .. otherwise .. buy an X5 4.8 iS ! :nut:

Infiniti FX!! The 35 or 45. Both look awesome, and it's got that euro look to it, lol.

i was looking at the H2 Hummer today and i really like it. I like the Sunset Orange but i don't think you can get that color anymore.
1. 2005 Range Rover (Java Black) or (Zambezi Silver)
2. 2005 Hummer H2 (Sunset Orange)If you can still get it

Range Rover is the pinnacle, it feels like a sport sedan while driving. It crushes the Cayenne, X5, H2 in overall drive quality. Driven the G500, if you can afford it, may as well enjoy it too, but the G-Class is just an over the top expense.

XC90 Volvo would be my recommendation.......the porsche look like the bigger hyundai.......and i don't trust too much on land/range rover's electronic

Two 2005 SUV's, wow!!!
I have read so many reviews of Range Rovers and to my suprise I found that they were not rated so high. I myself wanted to buy one but the reviews set me back, and instead I got a 4 runner.
The Porche does never look like an SUV.
You might wanna get the best the H2, which is just awsome, I have seen some performing on my last winter trip to James Bay, and they could do almost anything. So I would definitely suggest the H2, then the Infinity(because of the Great looks) and the Cadillac Escalade( Luxury at its best).
These are my views hope it helps you to decide.

teh fx45 isnt even a true suv... its like a cross breed... inbread between a sport coupe and the one that looks like a pathfinder....go wit the cayenne if u are a road only type... or the range rover if u wanna do some serious offroad.. even though it would be a shame to offroad any of the vehicles on this post
