Those are stag's with r34 front ends... stock they're not nearly as pretty lol.

You can get an autech 260rs though which is 5spd rb26dett awd from the factory... Some of the regular model series 2's come with rb25det NEO's as well. Sweet cars.

Yesterday was only my second Beyond meet, so I can't speak to how they used to be "back in the day" What I can tell you (from experience with other car clubs) increased popularity of a club/meet also increases the likelihood that some riffraff will show up.

We can all sit and complain about it online or we can try and raise the bar of meet etiquette? Do moderators of Beyond go to these things? It may be worthwhile (in an attempt to continue to be allowed at Chinook) to walk around, introduce themselves and provide a gentle hint to what is/isn't appropriate. You know damn well that the older generation (like at GE) wouldnt hesitate to let a punk kid know they are fucking with the flow, why can't these meets be the same? Being new, I would have appreciated meeting some of the more experienced people.

Like many of you (I assume) have been around for a bit, have owned many cars and have had lots of fun on the way. I am not a kid anymore and see past VTA BoV and loud exhaust, that being said, I remember my first few cars as a teenager...dare I say it, but we have all gone through that phase in some form. Most of us have also grown past it, just as many of this younger generation will.

I go to these events to meet with people and appreciate the hard work you all put into your cars. Do I think they are as outrageous as some people here say...no. I also tend to leave early and apparently miss the drama. Can there be improvements?...absolutely!

All I am saying is, step up to make a change or stop coming. There is nothing wrong with going to a new venue that better fits your expectations etc - I just don't see the point in complaining on the internet, yea know?

Geez, all I could think of after reading your post was Grandpa Simpson yelling.

As far as the Chinook meets, they are unorganized, no? It's not like GE where there's someone running the event and things are monitored - Chinook is sort of like Barlow Tim's, just a disorganized meeting of vehicle enthusiasts and I highly doubt that the owners of Beyond.ca are going to be patrolling this meet any time soon. As far as moderators, that would be a pretty unrealistic expectation to make of someone who is volunteering their time to watch over a forum - that is to now go out on a Wednesday evening and baby sit a bunch of tards that they may or may not know.

Now a days 16 year olds are getting brand new cars from the parents not like things were back in the day where most people had to work hard to buy the cars and mod them as well as spend time on forums. These guys dont know what the rules are and it wont change anytime soon.

So help me out here - you call it a meet and state that some people don't know the rules. Because it's not organized like GE, where would one of the newbies go to get the rules and whom would be officially enforcing said rules. Be a dick at GE and I'm pretty much sure you'll not be allowed in the next week.

Not a club as far as I know .....organized and sponsored by Grey Eagle Casino including free food and drinks.....and free draws.

It's officially called Wild Wednesdays ,starts I think at 6 .....I usually get there at 7.

Once it ramps up there can be more than 200-300 cars there,and I'm sure Grey Eagle security and Tribal Police would handle anyone that started any crap.

That being said they ain't prudes....there is some spirited exits but on the road not in the lot around peoples rides.

Any car is fine at Grey Eagle and you can always park, then come visit if you don't want to park inside the ropes. There's no such thing as too old, I'm proof of that... :thumbsup:

One guy said, "If you were going to change all the engine parts out, why didn't you just buy a regular CTS and swap out the engine..."

Fun night for sure though and I'm looking forward to getting out again in a few weeks.:
