Shitty, it's probably a PITA to pull and you're paying for their time as well as the part unfortunately. New glass isn't too bad sometimes. I remember I searched wreckers for a while for a rear vent window for a minivan, getting quotes of $100-$200 and a local glass company (don't recall who) supplied and installed a brand new one for under $200 IIRC.

You know what the biggest PITA is... The sunroof glass just shattered while the car was parked in the parking lot. Lancers owners watch out. This WILL happen to your sunroof glass. SPREAD the word..

There are some fourms on this regarding the random exploding sunroof glass. I emailed MITSU head office couple days ago, asking them why this happened and NO response. Stupid MITSU !!!! I am not a supporter of these cars any more...

FS - 2008 - Mitsu Lancer GTS - Sun and sound package, with slight sunroof glass damage !!!

Oh yeah.. Forgot, the 2008 Lancer at 60 000km the Clutch Input Shaft just stoped working. I guess because the master or slave clutch cylinder went bad. Just like that. Since they had to remove the tranny to fix it, I had them replace the clutch too. Had to pay 2500 to get all that fixed. They said it was not covered under warranty. Well it was not my fault it broke.

I read some fourms they did a recall on 2009 lancer for this exact problem.

Back your cars up MITSU... Back them UP !!!! Arrrrrrr... I am angry!!!!!

You can try LKQ Alberta at (403) 783-5189.

This isn't just a Mitsubishi thing, myself and others on here have had exploding sunroofs in many makes, I seem to recall VW being one of the more popular ones. One of the side effects of tempered glass.
