Back in the day, a buck a can was my standard for cheap beer. that included tax and deposit though.
Once those are added in, this meets that criteria, barely. I deem this a good deal.

That can't be right. The 24pk of Canadian beside it is over $30 and it has the same savings .

well liquor stores open at 10:00 AM, someone go check. I'd drink bud, although it's not high on my list.

Well I do have a few cases of hoegaarden that I like to drink in a nice frosted mug with my pinky out but if I need some getting drunk beer this is a good option

Typically my first 2-3 beers are tasty higher end sons of bitches, then after that my taste buds don't give a shit what I drink, and it's to the cheap swill I go

This. "I'll start with craft, and finish with your cheapest draft."

Ha ha.

That is a cheap 2-4 though, still not what we'd find in the US of A though..

Mgd is cheap in that picture as well I think, or maybe I'm getting gouged in the south lol. Or maybe I drink to much when I do buy it, but I'm sure it's closer to 30 for a 12 pack

I used to do this, then I noticed how much different I felt if I only drank no-preservative beer. Now none of that cheap shit like Kokanee, Bud, Canadian etc does it for for me, just makes me feel like shit.

Same. Cheap beer hangovers just aren't worth it. I stick to good stuff, and a clear head in the morning.

Cheap draft does that to anyone. Cheap bottles, not as much I've found.

Oh yeah totally.

I was just saying if I were to rank some of the cheaper beers, I rather drink Keith's or Kokanee; Bud and Canadian would be near the bottom.

$21/24 pack of Bud is all I'd ever pay for that stuff.

Agreed on the Innis & Gunn... wow that shits like candy with alcohol lol.

Very much agreed on the first few beers being primo shit... then it may as well be as bad as Mountain Crest/Boxer for the rest.

You guys like that Innis and Gun shit? I think it tastes awful. My newest favorite brew is Electric Avenue Lager by Wildrose Brewery. I like the crisp, refreshing taste of lagers, but it has no preservatives in it since its from Wildrose. Great new addition to the WR portfolio.

Cheapest beer is (Superstore) PC brand about two weeks before Stampede.

2012, they were going for 50 cents per can (maximum 8 cases)

2013, 75 cents per can.

Its not all *that* bad, but its no La Fin Du Monde. I prefer PC brand potato chips and chocolate cookies to the name brands.

The Tundra beer from Mountain Crest is my current favourite cheap strong beer. It's not good, but it's good enough.

Personally I quite like it. Their Irish Whiskey blend for St Paddy's day was pretty good as well. The Original is still my favorite though.

Ive been meaning to try Wildrose for a while now.
