Ford guys - what would this sound be (v10 Triton) - its for a friend - excuse the video shakiness it was mainly for the sound .
Exhaust manifold? (regardless of RPM sound is still there)

Does it sound like it's coming from the catalytic converters? The converters are known to have the guts rattle loose and the honeycomb brick will rattle around inside. Manifold leaks will make a steady tick-tick-tick noise that will often go quiet or diminish completely as the engine warms up, and you'll usually see carbon tracking from one of the ports in the proximity of the loudest noise.


I would second this. sounds exactly like my buddies truck and that turned out to be the honeycomb rattling in the cat.
