I'm packing up some stuff for my move, and I packed up a bunch of books that I probably don't have room for.

Does anybody know where I can donate or sell my books? I checked with the library but I can only donate 10 books, and I'm not sure how many of them fit their guidelines (I'm keeping all the freaky shit, obviously).

Post them for free on facebook. Anyone who doesn't take a free book, unfriend.

I dumped a whole bunch in one of these bins near a community center:

If you have any children's books, I'd be glad to come pick them up for our group.

Yeah, Take them to Fair's Fair. You may get a cuple bucks for them, and they'll be re-used.

If you can find a "Little Free Library" (http://littlefreelibrary.org/ourmap/)
Fill it up.

Dang. If you said this 2 weeks ago I would've taken all of them for Step Forward.

They run a book drive every year and I'm pretty sure it ended this week.
I think they have some storage space if you still wanna donate to them and they will sell next year? PM me.

Calgary Herald also has an annual book drive/sale…

I believe they take donations for books, not sure when/where though.
