IMO Colonial is bad lol. Only reason I go there is cause my white friend likes it.
There's a OK one on the +15 level of Suncor, forget what the name is though. Right next to the sushi place.

I was being sarcastic if you didn't notice haha. That place is expensive and terrible. Totally meets OP's criteria, but just recommending to stay away from that place unless you want to be a sucker.

Pheonix express in Altius. Me and all my white buddies go there for the bun, not sure if the pho is any good.

Go early, or make a reservation if they take them. It's fairly small and usually fills up before noon.

I think every pho place in the +15 is gross; and if they speak Chinese (usually Cantonese) GTFO.. Heck almost all places downtown even outside the +15 I can't stand anymore. Put on your jacket and go somewhere decent.

I got a chance to try out Choices, Phoenix express, and Omi last week.
I will try Asian Village and Oriental Phoenix next month.
