I like the looks of that second row!
our current minivan we have used the third row for two trips in two years.

Yea, it's pretty damn roomy. Don't tell my gf haha, I'd rather she get the GLA45.

That looks like it'd be nice for a long trip, full calf support! But then again I would think the demographic buying this would most likely be families, kids usually sit in children safety seats anyways :dunno: maybe in Korea they care for this stuff?

If it's anything like the Sienna a 6' person could not use those leg rests even with those seats all the way back. Really just a gimmick IMO.

I can never sleep if my wife is doing the driving, witnessed a few too many "WTF is she doing now" moments. Mention anything and it is the rest of the trip "not" discussing it. Sitting in the back of this KIA looks very comfortable, without a doubt all my passengers would be fighting for the rear seats. Can I assume they are heated? Asking too much for some vibration? A cooler? A TV? Full satty TV?

I'd say from my observations in S. Korea and Japan, the average Korean person is taller than the average Japanese person. Certainly this applies to the under 50 crowd. Those older folks were small eaters and had hormone free meat. I'd say the KIA has factored in the fat assed NA buyer better than Toyota. KIA seems to be not failing on any vehicle these days... not that I'd buy one just yet... stuck in my ways but noticing the home runs.

Haha covering a minivan.. What has Beyond become LOL.

If it's anything like the Sienna, the leg rests will be useless if you're over 4 feet tall.

Nice looking van though.

My guess is you can push the chair all the way back to do this = no 3rd row.

It's a nice looking van.

Most Asian vans (Hyundai Starex or the Hi-Ace) has the swivel captain's chairs in the second row that can be adjusted. Fold the 3rd and boom; luxury. :bigpimp:

At least the styling is a big improvement over the last gen. Getting that head Audi designer was the best move KIA ever did.

HiAce's are awesome because they fully utilize the foot print of the interior of the van. It's probably the same length as the North American Odyssey but because front passengers sit directly over the drive wheels, there's enough room for 3 rows of seats in the back (the usual passenger configuration if not being used as a cargo van).

Only downside is, can't tell you how safe this would be on North American highways LOL. But still.. If the HiAce ever made to these shores, it'd be at the top of my list.

The Smart car doesn't really have a crumple zone haha. So this could pass.
