Compared to the recent new models from Infiniti and Lexus this Acura looks great.

Acura Unveils The 2015 TLX in New York
onApril 16th, 2014

Acura has officially unveiled the 2015 Acura TLX today

I'm confused. The article says "unveiled today".

So what was the red Acura sedan badged as a TLX on the turntable I saw at the Edmonton auto show over the weekend? :dunno:

The concept for the tlx before the production model

I like this a lot. This styling direction is much better than the beak. Interior looks good too, lighter than TL, faster etc. Weird transmission on the 4cyl though. Dual clutch with torque converter? I do also dislike the hidden exhaust.
They need new FI engines though. Also would be nice to have awd with the 4cyl option.

Apparantly the ILX will also be getting AWD but for 2016.

The DCT is the same one the current Accord.

I think it looks better in person than pictures. All the pics on the net including official PR pics make it look very bland.

^ Maybe thats what it is... because I don't see anything new about this.... same old Acura style. Rear end does look pretty good compared to Lexus IS or Infiniti Q50.

Nope, it looks bland in person too. The exhaust is horrible. Seriously.

Those rims... blegh.

Much prefer these ones. Assuming they'll be offered as an upgrade:

Anyone drive this thing yet? Got calls from Acura but was curious if anyone has test driven.

Side profile seems alot like the 2015 Genesis. (which i would take over the Acura for the cost..queue the haters..)

Everything looks the same nowadays lol not much difference between mid size cars when comparing Hyundai, Acura, Honda, Lexus, Toyota.. and I hate to say it but also the Infiniti Q50....

Looks like an Accord and a Sebring? Not impressed, Acura.

You might as well toss all the cars from that class into here since they all look similar now.

And don't forget cars NOT in this class, which includes the new Chrysler 200.

I am going to say some of you need glasses.

Sat in one at the dealer last weekend when I was picking up some parts. Really nice, a big improvement over my tsx. Interior is the same size as the TL which is a nice bonus with an overall smaller vehicle by a few inches. Hopefully they can add some forced induction to that 4cyl, but otherwise it seems worth it to get the V6 sh-awd. Would be interesting to drive though

The fuck is with Acura just adding "X" to the end of all their car names?

They have used it forever and are just making the names consistent
Integra > RSX
EL > CSX > ILX
TL > TLX
TSX > TLX
RL > RLX
MDX
RDX

ILX was hybrid between CSX and TSX
TLX was hybrid between TSX and TL
RLX was hybrid between TL and RL

From what I can gather since the beginning, the "X" denoted "sport". So NSX would've been the first. Then it trickled down to their SUVs (starting with SLX then MDX). Then sporty sedans (RSX, TSX but not CL, RL and TL which were 'luxury'/tourers). And now it's just lost all meaning and everything is sport. At least that's my take.
