That piston is fine, just needs some new rings and she'll be good as new!

Did it destroy your cylinder wall, or the block is fine?

actually yes... but after stroking it to 3.3 liters, all was well... this was the turbo that did it all...

Funny how "your" piston is from a site we're all very familiar with... http://www.exvitermini.com/ ...

http://www.exvitermini.com/pics/8thpist.jpg being the piston itself.

And I cannot load my videos on comcasts server... Any thoughts?

I got a question for you. I was discussing mau's setup the other day and we got to wondering if it would perform better with two nonsequental turbos of a lesser size then just using one big turbo? ie quicker spoolup times, and more available cfms. Is this the kind of setup you plan on running eventually? If so what makes that setup better or worse then a single turbo?

apparently the ultimate setup is the 1.5jze-gte setup....they use the head off of a 1jze-gte engine which is a twin parallel turbo setup with a 8400 redline, then use the block off of a 2jz, a parallel system has been found to be quite advantageous, one turbo for 3 cylinders, one turbo for the remaining 3 cylinders.
I believe the Walser supra has the hks twin turbo setup. you want to buy..there isnt anything on the road that can touch him and ive seen videos that prove it

It really just depends... Two smallers nonsequential turbos perhaps 2 super 20g's would produce awesome spool up times... the HKS T51 Turbo really takes a while to spool, on more powerful engines (better) spool up is at about 4500-5500 RPM and takes a few seconds (no less than 1.5) boost is HUGE though.. (from 15-38)... Two smaller turbos would instantly boost up....

the wasler supra beats hayabusas left and right too..... ask for the videos...

We have street cars here in Cowtown that would spank the shit out of Wasler. 1/4 mile, or from a roll. Full interior too. No they're not imports.

BTW, Walser does not run your 1.5JZ setup.

I think two turbos compared to one are over-rated. Check this out: http://www.t04r.com/dynos/jesus_ken.jpg

Two dyno's overlaid. T88 vs 20Gx2. The twins are the ones on the bottom ;) A T88 has similar power poteintial compared to a t51-r SPL.
