Is there anywhere in Calgary that sells data ports for conference tables? I've already checked Memory Express but they don't carry anything like that at all. I'm looking for something like this:

Try home depot. They do sell mounts and swivels and table hole cable managers and stuff so perhaps they may have something.

I would try a major electrical retailer in town.

Westburne, EEcol, Nedco etc...

Most of those places have telecom depts these days.

I think you gotta go through a place that does AV.

CineA/V and InlandA/V will do stuff like this. They plan boardrooms and stuff.

If you're looking for someone to wire up the ports, try Calgary Telephone and Wiring.

Check out ECA on the web (electri-cable.) The photo you have looks more like a rendering. I find the ECA boxes are very expensive compared to others.

Others are Byrne Electric and Spider Agile, Spider just got bought out by DIRTT in Calgary.

IMHO stay away from AV companies as they tend to make things a lot more difficult than what is actually needed. These boxes are easy to add the components such as RJ-45, HDMI and such. You just need to plan ahead of time and get the proper face plate. Try to find one with a power cord already in it, this way you don't need an electrician to wire it, or if you know what you're doing wire it yourself.

Try Graybar www.graybarcanada.com

They are up in NE near Barlow/McKnight... On their site they have stuff like this in their Audio/Visual Solutions Brochure...

Or try Gunnar office furniture. I know you can get Tables with them - not sure if you can just buy the boxes www.gunnar.ca

Also try the large office furniture stores like McCrums and RGO.
