Holy shit, $3.60 for 2 pears? $8 for 1lb of strawberries?? That's taking organic to a whole new level.

It's usually organic, sustainable and local, which all 3 are buzzwords for expensive lol. The gf used spud for 2 years and didn't have any issues. VS buying organic in store the extra price is worth it when it's delivered for free and weekly, especially when you're downtown without a car.

Did you see those prices?!?!

Trust me, even though they don't have a delivery fee, they're getting paid for it.

I managed to sneak in on this deal before they changed it. Got 5lbs of organic meat and 6 oranges for $15. Made a giant pot of pasta sauce with 5 different animals in it.

Thanks!

We were there when it was delivered so we just emptied the container and gave it back. I imagine you could just call them to come pick it up though!

A lot of the time it's taste over health for organic stuff. Organic fruit for example tastes WAY better than your regular grocery store fruit.

at costco they have the organic strawberries right next to regular strawberries.
regular is $3 organic is $7, im no hipster so i couldn't tell the difference when i bought 2 containers of berries one of each by accident. i would have never spent double if i had been paying attention.

Fast forward to 11:15, 14:40, and 21:50. Honestly, if you have the time, watch the whole episode.

I did this test on my boss years ago, and he couldn't tell the difference. 50% accuracy haha.

Just going off of my personal experiences, not trying to be trendy or whatever, just eating what the gf feeds me lol.

The taste difference has much less to do with "organic" than it has to do with FRESH. Produce I get from a farmer every now and then is night and day different than what you get in the store and it's simply that it was harvested the same day/day before.
