I talked with a few people on here, and some of us thought it would be cool to start a Mitsubishi/Subaru Club for Alberta. Have cruises, meets, showoff nights, car shows, learn from one another so on, if your interested please reply. I will be setting up a meeting place, time and date shortly, so please let me know if you would be interested to come chat and see what we can come up with.

Alright, the Subaru's and Mitsubishi's/DSM's are stackin up, doing good so far. Now we need to come up with a Club name, possibly sign up at club association or whatever ya do, and try and get sponsored by a couple tire/tuner shops, and get a website going, meet up and have some fun.

Hey, i was gonna buy an AEM COld Air Intake this weekend for the lancer, does anyone know if there is something the exact same but cheaper, cause i seen one on ebay they want $66 U.S. for an Intake, but i dunno if its worth payin 100 bucks, or 400 bucks, any suggestions?

That.Guy.S30

get a rrm cai. i believe the gains are much higher than the aem but i heard they are expensive

Ya, i dont think i would trust a cheap CAI, so probably just the AEM would do fine, i hear could things about, the highest gain on a lancer was 13 Foot LBS torque and the average is 7.2 to 9.4 so it will be alright gain. I'm also debating on whether to get the Skunk 2 Muffler or the Magnaflow muffler, just the muffler tho, and im gonna get Calgary muffler to put on my piping.

theres nothing wrong or cheap about aem. I dont know how much you subaru guys are paying for cai's but i think $350 is alot for a peice of metal piping. imo

Dood you may want to research that. The HKS Mega flow is one of the shittiest filters around. especially for a NA car. All it is is a freaking sponge.

The K&N paper is still the cleanest, but the Blitz SUS, whih kinda still sucks is made from stainless mesh, which doesnt need oil and is pretty free flowing

Check with Cobb and see if htey have a lancer app. cuz I have seen it and it is nice.

So i got my my INtake put on today sounds awesome, some people will say omigod, or what the F**k were ya thinkin. But i fealt a tremendous gain in power and it sounds really good too. drum roll pleeeease....... AEM is the winner. I got AEM because i researched a bunch of intakes for the lancer, AEM came out on top, it supposed to increase the lancers horse/torque by up to 13, average is 8.2 to 10.9, then the other intakes are fairly normal gain around 3.4 to 7.9. So i'm happy with the intake, i got it at Speedtech on 32nd ave NE, real good people there. And about the meet probably first day of spring or around there, just so that we can give the snow a chance to melt so people with cars that they park during the winter can actually take em out of the garage. I also got a guy askin me if we wanted our own forum on this web site i said sure, the thing is what should we call it

13HP is a lot, but to actually notice the gain in HP you need about 30 for it be noticeable. When I was NA, I though I felt power differences, but it was all in my mind and I had done intake eexhaust and piggybacks, which should be good for 10-20HP

But good buy anyways, as long as it sounds better and you are happy with it thats all that matters

haha. that is for sure tho. How about Team Revolution... Were All Addicted! i dunno, anymore ideas. i cant think. And by the way, i can feel the difference just from the intake and lots of people ive talked too or know felt the difference as well, ya sure you would need 30 hp to feel a difference in like a car that already had 200 plus horse, but a lancer is only 120 - 160 stock. so im gonna feel the difference man

As for the HKS Super mega flow , it is 14.9 HP gain compared to the Blitz SUS which is 15.2 (Est) so not that biggy to me , as for the sponge getting dirty , it looks perfectly fine to me. Right now im tryin to get my car into a good lookin show car so i want a unique lookin Air intake. As for it not being good for the STi thats a lie , it sounds wicked and feels awesome , and that study comparison was on a normal mega flow.

K here's the scoop, i heard that people meet at chinook Centre on wedensdays. But i dont know what time or where at chinook, but if anyone knows post it up, because then we can have our first meet there, we will meet somewhere else first then cruise on over and check it out, but we will get to know everyone and get good exposure. Anyways, im not a very good talker in person, i mean telling people what's up, so im gonna need someone to help me out, anyone wanna help me out on that one, kinda tell people whats going on and so on? We also need to get a website going, if anyone knows how to do that kinda stuff let me know. and ya, Wedensday At chinook for sure, just gimme some ideas where to meet, and then so on.

There is no doubt you see HP gains. The fact is that the Sponge is not that effective in stopping dust and various other particles, especially on a daily driven basis. Since you go tit already there is no point in discussing it.
