Just moved from Midnapore last week, had a really nice wand wash I liked but its kindof retarded to drive all the way there for a car wash.

Currently located in Auburn Bay, what is a good wash in that area?? ideally one that takes credit cards because I NEVER remember to bring change

Cheers!:bigpimp:

Closest wand washes are all the way up in Douglas Dale near Quarry Park. If someone opened on in Seton they’d make a killing!

Might have to just bust out the pressure washer on the parking pad then :dunno:

The one in Douglas Square behind the McDonalds is awesome!

Car washes are lacking in our part of town.. I usually wash in our garage/alley or go to Co-op or Shell (Copperfield) touchless :(

I like Harper's, the one in Douglas square by the McDonald's over charged my visa. He admitted there machine had problems and I was overcharged. But gave me the run around for weeks until he stopped replying to my emails, and wouldn't call me back.

There is one in heritage point as well that's good.

When I lived in the area I just went over to the one in Chaparral or even way over to Midnapore.

Douglasdale has 3 within a few blocks. The only one not mentioned is the one right off 114th Ave and 29th St SE. I can't remember the name of it.

Any idea if any of those have DIY dog-washes as well?

I used to live a few blocks from two different washes. Now that I am in the far SE I was wondering where to go. Will have to check on Douglasdale.

The one in Douglas Square behind the McDonalds has a dog wash as well. It's probably my favourite car wash in Calgary, even more than Centex. It's just the massive speed bumps are a pain if you're low but you can enter behind the Bull and Finch and go around all the speed bumps.

Ill have to try the one behind the McDicks.. alot of good reviews for that one. Ive been using Harpers by the casino. No complaints there but always open to good washes.

I use Harpers car wash and love it!

They always have staff on hand, they take credit card, facilities are nice, and staff cleans out the mud in the bays whenever a mess is left.

Been going there for around 10 years!
