Book at delta.com

You have 24 hours to cancel with no penalty. Book now think later

Works May- Feb from what I can see. Not much availability in the high season summer but some out there.

Some days it hits $480 all in round trip

Enjoy

Yeah, I compared it for a good 10 minutes for YYC-HKG on multiple sites then scoured to look for connecting flights to BKI, now it's all gone fml, back to regular prices.

edit nvm: it's still up for certain dates  but 7 hours layover in Seattle sounds awful. Shows on google flights too.

My buddy and his 3 friends booked a trip to HK in October on this. I was so tempted to book something, but the week they are going, is the one week in October I can't go as I have to cover for my boss being away....so was thinking of booking in December, but wife didn't want to go for 1 week, and when I offered longer, she said she didn't have the vacation days, so just gave up haha.

Guess 3 weeks in Japan, 1 week in Peru, and 1 week in Panama will be all my travel for the year :(

Thing about going to Asia is you're jet lagged for the first few days. By the time you're getting over feeling tired and groggy it's time to leave. :nut:

I noticed that when I did it, I had to close the browser and start again if it says 'sold out'.

You'll get a one-time sneak and then just pay.

I logged into delta's site and it still shows both passengers under the booking, maybe cibc is being retarded for some reason? Hopefully it's all good

U should b all good. I haven't heard of any refunds. Once u have ticket numbers which I think deltas start with 006 both parties have entered the "contract." Delta could face huge fines if thy wiggle out of this contract.

Probably cibc glitch

If they were going to cancel it they would have done it within 24 hours. :D

Someone on RFD has already left on these fares.

For those of you who took advantage of these fares make sure to sign up for the right frequent flyer program and credit those miles.

Delta flights are great to credit to alaska airlines mileage plan. You should end up with enough my miles to fly one way to hawaii or mexico with just taking your flights.

I already have skymiles. Are they not as good?

2Legit2Quit
05-22-2014, 10:57 AM
My flights are still good to go btw, the initial purchase got refunded then had 2 separate transactions for the cost of each ticket, weird but oh well.

Are those economy premium seats worth it? $130 each way is steep, half the price it would be aight.

Delta recently revamped their frequent flyer mileage accumulation rules to be based on the value of the ticket instead of the distance traveled. Not sure when exactly this takes effect, but check this:

In your Delta booking, there may be a spot that will tell you how many Skymiles you'll earn. If it is measly (mind you you paid $500 for your ticket and if the rule applies you won't get much,) then look at what other airline that partners with Delta will give you: Alaska is one of them, and if they give you miles for actual miles flown on Delta, then sign up for Alaska's mileage thingy and add that number to your Delta reservation.

Loyalty is changing with Airlines, with too many people having access to upgrades and lounges etc because travel is so much more affordable now and/or people travel a lot for work. This new scheme with Delta is set to reward those that spend most money with them as opposed to those that fly lots.
