ae 86

hey my buddy wants to sell me his 86 ae 86....5 speed, engine is in awesome condition, except it needs a new rear diff...body is in ok condition, a little rust. interior is like new and everything. what does everyone think would be an acceptable price?? i just don't want to get gypped....

rear difs can be hard to fnd for those....maybe 1800..a little rust showing can sometimes mean a lot of rust hidden that cant be seen

rear diffs can be found at junkyards...however lsd versions are really rare

they are all lsd from what i know..makign them very rare

i would say go for it, but only if you truly love the car.
James is selling his MR2, and i am doing my damdest to try and get it off of him. if you really like a car made before 1990, and you find one in good condition, then snap it up!

How many k does this AE86 have?? he hasnt discussed the price yet?:confused:

umm details will follow, but it is red, and so far he has mentioned 1500....but it's not for sure though
