God damn I love the cayman body style. So much more visually appealing than the 911's.

Regular Carrera/4S yeah, agreed. But nothing beats the look of a "real" 911, the turbo!

Yes, the redesigned Cayman is beautiful, and this package just takes it to the next level. Can't wait to hear the specs on it.

C4S's have the turbo look, minus the air inlets on the rear haunches.

I know, and that one detail kills it for me. It changes the whole car to my eyes. :nut:

A chick I know has a nice C4S and it's a blast to drive but the looks......

I dunno, turbo's are insane cars (drove a 996 turbo yesterday and g'damn was that thing fast) but I feel like they're a bit much for my tastes.

Were I to get a Porsche it'd probably be a 2010-2011 Targa 4S.

I think Carerra 4S's look great. That'd be my next choice.

Any Info on the engine specs? May have missed it.

Would be cool if the 3.4L would output close to 400hp.

Would need 425hp to hit the magical 125hp/L.

Well, with Carerra S's putting down 400hp I don't know if we'll see numbers that high...

There have been reports that it will have over 400hp but nothing confirmed yet.

Also reported pricing on this is in the $125k range.

^ 125K for a Cayman is a lot of money. Does that mean if you throw in some red seat belts and remove the AC it'll be a 150K?

Just reports I've seen online so who knows how accurate it will be. At 125k I'm guessing that would have to be the top end. This car isn't due out until 2016/2017 so account for inflation as well.

I think the S is optioned to like $130K at the auto show.

I'm surprised they're making the Cayman GT3. The mid-engine layout will make it quicker and better handling than a 911 GT3 IMO.

Their bread and butter is getting usurped!

Seriously?!?! That's nuts

IMO for that kind of money there are much, much better cars to be had.

I was about to call BS on that, but then I tried pricing out a Cayman GTS on the Porsche website, and surprisingly you can get it to over $130k with PDK, carbon brakes, etc. Thats crazy money, but you do get some pretty nice goodies. Still I'd buy a 911 over the GTS/GT3/GTwhatever Cayman.
