We have the same reason for cheering for Switzerland! Visited there and I loved it. Really want to go back. I guess I liked France too. Can't bring myself to cheer for France though haha.

Oh yeah, cheering against Portugal for the same reason as you. Don't like Ronaldo at all. Was hoping AM would beat RM for the Cup final, that collapse at the end wasn't any fun to watch.

We all know there's home stadium advantage this time, but this year I would love to see BRA vs POR for an end match - Neymar vs Ronaldo (no Ronaldinho this year :/), colonial beat down.

I can't really say I'm cheering for a specific team to win (I'm just here to watch sexy football from everyone except from my hate list) but if I were to pick 5 teams:

Belgium (Considered underdogs? I think they are legit and could go far)
Ghana
Ivory Coast (DROGGBAAAAAA!)
Germany (Marco Reus has nice hair  )
Brazil (Can't help but like all the young kids on the team, plus they have the HULK)

Cheering against:
Portugal (Fuck pretty boy Ronaldo and FUCK PEPE!!!)
Spain (holy, let someone else win already)
Italy
United States

With Poland out, I usually cheer for Spain, Germany, or Argentina. Don't really care though as long as we have some good matches.

Any idea if CBC will be streaming the games live? Or perhaps another source?

I'd love to see Argentina get to the finals, it would cause Brazil to go nuts as a nation. Also if Joseph "Sepp" Blatter dropped dead of a heart attack at some point in the tourney I'd be even happier. Toss in a Brazilian tranny in his hotel room and well, I'm all out of dreams for the WC2014.

Looking for an underdog in the final four, otherwise it'll be the usual suspects... BZL, Germs, Arggies and Holland...

If you can catch a live feed of the stadium during warm ups, it is the best, amazing what some of these players can do with a ball. It's almost as entertaining as the matches.

I'll watch every match as usual, if I can stay away from people mentioning who won. Need to schedule out my tourney life for the most live matches possible. Once again I will be walking around with earplugs on and hoping no one gives away the scores.

Germans are great to watch. Agreed with Argentina, that'd be incredible for them to be in the final. I enjoy watching the Dutch too.

Brazil, Italy and Spain are teams with a lot of finesse and diving skills. Fun and infuriating to watch.

Brazil's defense isn't that good but Croatia played a pretty good game. They always surprise me how good they are considering their population is smaller than Alberta's.

Stepping on opponet's leg and thowing your arms up looking at ref as you fall is a dive in my books.

On the other hand the header was perfection. Casillas is just standing there admiring it haha.
