After seeing Flip's thread I figured I should probably post up some renovation photos as well.

Been wanting to tackle the bathrooms in my place for a quite a while now and finally decided to start it up. I did the demolition myself and got things all cleaned up before having our own Dave the Tile Guy come in to work his magic.

Dave was able to get me a result I'm extremely happy with and also able to turn both my bathrooms around in a week at what I consider to be a very fair price.

And here's the results!

Still some work to do with shower glass, painting the walls and counter tops but it's coming along!

Did you supply the tiles or was those Dave's choice?

Looks great. Please come to Edmonton Dave :P

Thanks; definitely happy with how it turned out. Being measured up for frameless glass for the shower tomorrow which should cap off the look nicely.

I can happily say that I picked out the tile. It was a bit nerve racking trying to visualize how it all would look installed.

I like seeing photos of his work. You can tell when someone actually gives a shit about doing high quality work.

Nice work. That bathroom with the shower, tiny floor with lots of cuts. Dave probably only laid 3 tiles that didn't require a cut.

edit: What shower glass guy is everyone using lately? Any beyonders do this?

The design work, tile choice and grout colours were all Brknfingers' doing. The colours really went well together. Even on the tiled Niche, I made a suggestion but he stuck to his original idea, and it looked great.

The biggest challenge was trying fit myself and tools into the work area:

Also, it's amazing to see the quality of work that goes into these apts when you start tearing things apart. The plumbers completely missed the plates when running thier lines...I had to do some fancy work to move them so we could pour the floor:

All in all a pleasurable job. Wished all could go so smoothly. Another great beyonder to work for.
