For sale is a lady-driven, well maintained 2008 Saturn Astra XR. It's Black Sapphire Pearl on Black leather with the optional 17" wheels from factory. We are the second owner after buying the car from Big 4 Chrysler in June 2011. This vehicle was originally purchased with a 6 year, complete bumper to bumper, extended warranty which expired in October 2013. It has been dealer serviced it's entire life.
The Good:
- Excellent summer tires (Firestone) with 70% tread remaining
- Windshield is good with no cracks
- Brakes and clutch still feel as new and will provide many more kms of driving
- paint is excellent
- interior has been thoroughly detailed for the sale and looks brand new
- O2 sensor and MAF sensor replaced under warranty in September 2013
- Car is safer than most in its class with front and rear curtain airbags, front torso airbags and standard driver and passenger airbags
- Features not usually seen on a car in this segment include: rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps, european tuned suspension, heated leather seats, information screen with range remaining
- Loads of cargo space because the rear seats fold flat
- 100% factory original with oil changes every 5000kms as per GM schedule - title in hand
The bad:
- small dent on front passenger quarter panel from my wife nudging a pole in a parking lot - cannot be seen from 10 feet (see pictures)
- small spot of surface rust above the trim piece on the hatch - very common on these cars and I've treated the area with rust inhibitor to prevent it from spreading (see pictures)
Extras: 16" Nokian winter tires on steel rims - this is a big bonus because these cars have an odd bolt pattern only shared with a Chevy Cobalt SS
Price: $8200 but willing to entertain offers from interested buyers - motivated seller as we have a new car arriving shortly
