Just wondering if any of you RC people have ever been hassled when playing at these places? Some are obviously illegal to play in (city parks) but bylaw probably doesn't do anything unless someone puts a complaint in.

In my first link, it is a dedicated spot for RC truck racing and whatever. never once had an issue there.

We have had cops show up at Shaw Millennium Park before, but they just end up watching us for awhile, making sure we are not being ass hats, and they leave.

I have been hassled by conservation officers in Big Hills Springs provincial park and Fish Creek Park before and told to leave, but never gotten a ticket or anything.

But never once have I had any issues operating in a city park. Usually it draws a crowd to watch as most people love em. I have had quite a few good conversations over these.

Yeah just the marked spot is the actual RC track. Pretty decent 3 different loops for different sized RC. I actually originally built the 5th scale track with my brother there. We brought in a bobcat and cleared out the area and built up a few large jumps.

Blackfoot track is pretty fun and it's $2 or $3 for the day. I have a brushless emaxx, summit , and stampede if anyone wants to go for a rip. Also I like driving in carburn park, lots of cool things to do there
