Vinyl was used in old cheap cars and is cold in the winter and damn hot and sticky in the summer! Plain cloth is 100x better than vinyl!
looks better than cloth, and cheaper than leather.

it looks better, but i'm not a fan of leather seats either. so i think i'm gonna go with a set of racing seats, but that's gonna be so damned expensive

i agree too, but someone posted that it is "damn hot and sticky" in the summer?? how bad can it be?? I still think it's a good idea, the only reason i wanna vinyl my racing seats is so they will match with my back seats...

why the hell would u vinyl up racing seats? the whle point of racing seats is to hold u in place so u dont slide around in the corners. vinyling your seats seems a little counterproductive to me

you could be right, but the way I see it I'll still have the form of the seat, i'll still have the straps, I won't be sliding anywhere...it will just be different material on the seat

dude, unless u strap yourself on TIGHT u will still slide a bit, which definitely affects your driving on the track.

how hot and sticky can it be?
take a test drive on a 20+ day in someones car that has it done, just to see if you still like it.
thats my suggestion, its the only way to find out if you'd really like it in your own car
