So another Beyond thread got me a thinking and seeing as this is sort of a car place, I'd thought I'd put this out there...

What would be your top 10 list of douche bag cars?

My top 10 list and it's an evolving list...
BMW 3 series or variants thereof
Audi - pretty much all varieties is seems
Pretty much any lowered or fart canned Honda driven by a pimply faced younger guy
Cobalts driven by above same kids
Any lifted domestic 4X4 driven by most testosterone-pumped goofs
Any domestic 4X4 that regularly rolls coal
Any newer Mustang driven by same testosterone-pumped goofs
Gangster modded 300's, Caddys and the like
VW Jettas
Acura Integras or derivatives
Now some of you will probably get very vehicle/model specific because you're just that good.

I would be more specific: #1 spot: Young dipshit driving his "Hemi" Dodge 4X4 at 140kms down Stoney Trail every morning tailgating or weaving through traffic.

1-10. Any office warrior hauling their briefcase, driving the biggest pickup possible to downtown every morning, bloating up parking lots so barely anybody can fit between them. Ford F150s, Nissan Armadas etc.

#1 - BMW's
#2 - Hummer H2's that haven't been bought up by soccer moms
#3 - Ford Raptor
#4 - Lifted trucks (+1 for lifted diesel)
#5 - Motorcycle's driven by < 30 crowd
#6 - Mustangs
#7 - Porsche Panamera - congrats on buying the ugliest car on the market
#8 - City buses
#9 - Cadillac SUV's
#10 - Lifted Jeeps with no doors/top driven by shirtless dudes on 17th Ave

Couple were a stretch because once I started thinking about BMW drivers the rest of them seemed like decent people.

In defense of my choice of diesel, as soon as I brought it home I removed any chrome that didn't serve a purpose! Daily driver, yes, but I get better fuel economy than our Hyundai Vera Cruz the Buick Enclave we had before it.

Guilty as charged, but consider that some of us office warriors have legit reasons for the trucks. Mine is my company truck used 50% of the time to travel up north to beat up and down lease roads, and the other 50% of the time to travel to my clients downtown. My 1 person company can't justify a second car for in town work just to make parking easier, nor will I use my personal vehicle to visit client sites. With all the O&G people in the core, I doubt I'm the only one in this position.

Doesn't this thread basically insult every member of this forum?

The only d-bag drivers I see are from their actions, not choice of ride.

What makes a d-bag driver? Rolling coal... Just thinking about it makes me want to slam my fist into my keyboard. :banghead:

1) Harley/"Hog" riders, being as loud as possible, on purpose, at all times. By a factor of 10 I find these to be the biggest D-bags.
2) TAXIS
3) Lifted Trucks (especially diesels w/aftermarket exhaust). I have found almost every single one I've seen to drive like a D-bag.
3) Mustangs driven by younger people
4) RHD Nissans
5) Fart-can 'souped up' Civics
6) Escalades / Navigators
7) Charger / Challenger drivers
8) Hummer H2's
9) Gangstas in their POS Cadillac STS'
10) Cobalt SS

CYCLISTS - however not a car so it doesn't go on the list. I absolutely hate the way most of them ride like the own the entire road at 15 km/h.

Honestly 3-Series BMW's and Audi drivers pale in comparison to the amount of D-bags I see driving the above, just from my experience.

Every driver can be a douche regardless of the make and model.

Also it depends on the season lol.

For the All-season douche-bags:
I find that Subaru drivers (both left and right hand drive)who think they are Peter Solberg are by far the most douchey and reckless i have seen, compared to BMW, Audi, Honda, and bald Porsche drivers.

5. VW Golf/Jetta GTI (Regular versions are for geography teachers)
6. Nissan Z cars

Aaaaw. I hurt your feelings.

Sucks that so many in this thread have the same ideas about lifted 4x4's and coal rollers. That said, there are many out there that drive these types of vehicles and aren't one bit of a douche while doing so but, it only takes a handful of idiots to create a stereotypical image of the type of person who might happen to drive a certain type of vehicle. So if you're bothered by what people are saying in this thread, then either man up and grow a set if you are that stereotypical owner or accept the fact that you will be lumped in with that stereotypical image no matter how un-douchey you may be.

Audi was #2 on my list - I see so many that pull the biggest bone-head moves in traffic and yet I have no doubt that there are far more Audi owners out there that are cool as cool can be. But, the image that's burned into my brain when I generally see an Audi driver is that they'll pull some wild 3-4 wide lane change and back just to get ahead 1-2 car lengths.

Anyhow, if I really knew who you were I'd come right over and get you a new bowl of Corn Flakes because apparently someone pissed in the one that you were enjoying.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you didn't hurt my feelings one bit. We're both opinionated inflammatory individuals and also both business owners, and I assume that is the reason why you don't come out in the open with your bullshit the way I do. I find you annoying as fuck, as most people feel about me. That's all.

Oh, I suspect we're more different than you might like to believe but whatever.

Never the less, one can get butt hurt if they wish over what others think or they can let it slide like water off of a duck's back. I've owned motorbikes in the past and was well aware of the stereotypes that went with them - had both a cruiser and a sportbike. Did I get butt hurt when people stated their narrow viewpoints based upon whatever disinformation that may be out there - nope, I didn't because I wasn't the ass wipe that was splitting lanes or speeding like hell or revving the engine like crazy or stunting all over the place. I rode sensibly but also had some thrilling moments but those moments were always out of the sight of pretty much everyone.

Yeah, it sucks to be be lumped in with a stereotype but the intent of this thread wasn't to out anyone. It was only meant as some light entertainment to see what people's stereotypical images were - as right or wrong that may be. I could've made it the most annoying type of driver thread and certainly any vehicle with shit dangling from the front inside center mirror would've been on the top of my list in that case - but again, my intent wouldn't have been to out anyone.

I drive a properly lifted truck, and I can fully agree with many of these lists. I personally know of quite a few douchebag diesel and lifted truck drivers. Many of which more than likely never see mud or dirt.

Yeah, I absolutely hate Harley's in every sense of the term, just the site of them makes me sick to my stomach.

Big time :werd: on the cyclists. fuck their a nuisance. :banghead: :banghead:

1. Any beat to shit car that looks like it might have been halfway cool 10 years ago or more, and hasn't changed a bit since then, is almost always driven by a douchebag.

2. Anything with a Monster Energy sticker.

3. Anything with that "piss on (Ford, Dodge, whatever)" sticker.

4. Anything with those fake bullet hole stickers.

5. I like to look at trucks so I notice stuff like this, and people who don't might not understand what I'm talking about, but any shit like "Dodge the father and Ram the daughter", or "I'd rather be Cummin' than Strokin'". These are on lots of trucks. Nothing of any value will ever come from anyone who thinks that's funny. I wonder what they think when they step back and look at it after they stuck it on the window.

6. Black smoke guy.

7. I can't think of 10 things right now.

8. GMCs.

9. Camaros.

Total derailment, but I haven't been on Beyond for a while...Heavy D, what happened to the blue stang, and the love for Mitsu?? When did you get the STI?

Blue stang was actually yellow as in LEMON yellow. Loved the car but hated the problems (transmission, engine tick, front lower control arms, etc). I had to get out of the Mustang ASAP and was considering another EVO but after losing money on the Mustang didn't want to pony up for another MR and found Canadian GSR's too much of a stripper for my tastes as I could get into a fully loaded STI for almost the same money. Kind of wish I got the GSR now though lol.

I still think I will go back to a Mustang (can't be beat for performance/dollar) but I will wait until they iron out the kinks with the all new models so looking at 2017 or so.

Lol, I seem to recall warning you about the quality of Mustangs when you first bought it. I think you owned yours for about as long as I owned mine.

Yep. Dollar for dollar nothing right now really comes close as the GT with Brembo option is essentially a poor man's M3. Even the build quality is very solid. I've yet to hear a squeak or rattle or have any rock chips in the paint.

Audi R8 drivers. Had 2 rev at me last night, I think because they're an "affordable" super car that Johnny engineer can lease and even drive year round if he can't afford a second car.

I want to add Cyclists to my list :D

Got so mad at one driving down the middle of the road on 7th Street today (not in bike lane) when there is a fuckin bike lane taking up half the road for this purpose only!!!

I sure as hell wish cyclists wouldn't "filter". (that means continuing up to to the front of the line when cars are stopped at an intersection). It means they are once again in your way and you have to move over to get around them AGAIN once traffic flow resumes.

Whenever you are regretting the Sti over an EVO, just think about residual value. You will know it was the right choice. Even with a new gen out now, the 2011+ sedans are selling for high 30's. There just had to be something wrong with the stang lol, just too good to be true. All that power and features for under 60k...

With even mods as slight as a 62mm turbo, FASS 150/gph fuel pump and CP3 mods and 50hp injectors (which is all I have) you need some sort of tuning to keep the EGT's in check. You can either black out the whole street or not. That is entirely driver controlled. Mash it off the line- even as low as level 3 on the Smarty will upset most people behind you. You get all that fuel dumped in before the turbo spools up hence the black smoke. Drive off the line normally and there is little or none. Crank the Smarty to 9 and lock it up lugging uphill, you'll be on par with a 1800's steam locomotive. Then you might need a new tranny lol
