Did the civic let up? cuz on paper if they were both modded the same. then the civic should have blown the heavier accord away should it not have?

Depends on what tranni's they were using. If the accord was using its stock f22 5spd, the taller gearing may have helped it pull late....though the missed shift didn't help that at all.

ya, it also depends on the trans 2..

thanks for repeating what jdkakkord just said. I haven't watched the video, but stock for stock, the Civic would beat the Accord pretty bad. Transmission would make a difference, but I don't think it would be able to overcome that big of a weight difference.

at thoes speeds arodynamics also play a big part right ? wouldent the hatch be a disadvantage then

i thought the civic would have ripped away considering the weight difference...i dunno how different they are in weight but i still was rootin for the civic. H22's are from preludes right? or are they from accords? or both?

I highly doubt aerodynamics plays a big factor. The weight advantage the Civic has would overcome aerodynamic efficiency by a quite a bit (if it even is a factor at all).

i dont think the civic has that bad aerodynamics anyway...

ok I just watched the video, and something can't be right.
There is no way the Accord would pull like that at the end, or even keep up with the Civic at first if it was stock H22a for stock H22a. Either the Civic was sandbagging it, or the Accord has more mods than just a H22a.

The civic must not have been giving 'er. Or maybe the neons were weighing down the civic.
