The Greatest Truth Never Told

pmDU_1sUXik

The Greatest Truth Never Told (TGTNT) is a video series that has been 7 years in research and development. It is centered around the truth that humanity has been enslaved over and over again throughout history. TGTNT lays out the case for even the most cynical and indoctrinated individual that…

The paradigm which we operate under is mathematically going to end.
The end of the world as we know it does not mean it is the end of the world.
The way of life we are currently leading is pulling humanity down and should be shown the door.
We cannot change the world to make our self happy or free.
We must change our self to make the world happy and free.
The awakening process is a very hard road for those with no guidance.
All of the problems we face in the world start and stop within our consciousness.
When you realize that you have this power, nothing can stop this change.
Humanity has the ability to truly free themselves once and for all.

For me it's always been heights. Snakes don't bother me, spiders are fine, never been afraid of dogs. Heights though? The worst. Not 20' or anything but if I'm up 30 stories I don't like to get to close to the windows:rofl: Strangely enough heights from a plane and planes in general have no negative effect :dunno:

Interesting, I was just having a conversation with a pilot last night and he said the same thing. Crazy fear of heights but entirely comfortable flying all the time.

Could be. I've been in the window seat of a few planes forced to circle cities pretty low and I actually enjoy it. Yet if I was near a window in sight of the ground in one of the buildings I'm circling? I do not like that

I proposed to my wife on the top of the Rockefeller Building in New York. I was far more concerned with being near the edge than I was with the whole will you marry me thing.

On of the craziest things I ever saw was the testing for fire jumpers at the Jack Simson Gym at UofC. To show their non-fear of heights there was a ladder in the middle of the gym that went straight up past the track to near the ceiling and was free-standing. The candidate had to climb the ladder to the top, loop their leg over the top rung and then lean back with their hands in the air.

I've never been bothered by heights, but I don't know if I could do that.

But to keep on topic, typical acrophobia (fear of heights) is not necessarily of being very high up, it's an irrational fear like agoraphobia or claustrophobia, so unless you suffer from a combo of these, you won't necessarily experience it on an air plane.
All are individual symptoms of a wider panic/anxiety disorder and are pretty common.

Hmmmm. I wondered if maybe it was the forward motion of the airplane that somehow changes the dynamics that make the height an issue for me. :dunno:

I heard the heights thing was a matter of perspective. When you're as high up as a plane, your brain can't fully distinguish what's below you, so it doesn't recognize the height you're at.

All I know is climbing a derrick makes me shake. Jumping out of a plane wasn't even scary.

You'll never eat a Mozza without again!

A Mozza has always been a favourite of mine. I haven't been to an A&W in years though. I can't eat there without getting onion rings, and I found no matter what location the rings started to take a major slide in quality, so I stopped going entirely.

If you're lucky they'll agree to put an onion ring on it as well. Some call it a life changing experience, others call it a very good addition to a burger, up to you to decide.

15 years ago I worked in a meat packing plant for like a week. The place made the patties for all western Canada A&W's. We mixed up the Australian 100% non fat beef, with fat, (80/20 if I remember right), and also added the spices in at the same time.

It came in giant bags that came from A&W corporate, so I never did find out what was in it, but there was definitely garlic. Probably garlic salt actually, as that's the only spice I've ever had that upsets my stomach.

On a related note, the Buddy Burgers at A&W are, to me, the best 'small and cheap' burger deal around. Only because the JBCs at Wendy's seem to have gotten even smaller, bun to meat ratio is way off.

If it is the same A&W seasoning (orange in color) that they sell now, I love it! I purposely bought some one day because I love that seasoning so much

When I make homemade burgers, onion powder and garlic powder makes the patty taste so much more flavorful. Powder by the way, not salt.

Sounds like someone is envious.

Either you lack drive, ambition, intelligence, or a combination of the above to be successful. Instead you take the easy way out. You buy the snake oil that because you aren't successful you are really free. You are nothing more than a lacky in someone's cult.

:werd: Growing up on Vancouver Island, I knew a lot of those people, and none were preachy as fuck about it either, because they don't need to be. Living simplistic isn't a religion, it doesn't need to be pushed on others unless you have an agenda behind it (like the need to be validated)

Yeah, yeah, Clive Burger isn't that good. Sure it's great that all their packaging is compost able but their fries suck.

Oh yeah, I recognize the one on Macleod. Looks kind of sketchy. I'd rather eat at Arby's... :barf:

I tried the Brisket burger thing from Arby's once. I had no expectations of quality or flavour and yet I was still somehow disappointed. It tasted like meatesque cardboard on a bun.

Please don't say that kind of stuff here.

Arby's used to be awesomely cheap. 5x Beef and Cheddar's for $5, and you could add bacon to each one for 50 cents.

CB's is an interesting case.

By most standards the burgers and fries won't hold up. But if you grew up in the area the nostalgia trumps that ten fold. I was bussed into the school behind CB's for shop class in junior high. We'd skip out early every class for a Master burger and fries. It's that combo of dry bun, thin flame grilled patty and deep fried no name brand krinkle cut fries with what seems like too much seasoning salt, that gets me every time. As long as that place is still standing I'll head there a few times a year, sit in my truck, take a trip down memory lane with a giant smile on my face.

I'm surprised Rockys burger bus hasn't been mentioned yet... Still my favourite burger in the city

^I've heard it's good. Haven't tried it myself however. I should probably hit it up next week. Currently mowing down on some Cajun fries. :D

I'm sorry Red. I didn't realize I'd offend your burger sensibilities with that comment. I assure you, Arby's is only a last resort, after I've eaten all of the gum on the sidewalk and am still hungry.

I'll probably get crucified for this, but I love me a Mushroom burger at Burger Baron.

The mushroom sauce at Angels is very very similar to Burger Barons, and I can confirm it's delicious.

Since we're on burgers, there's a new burger joint opening on Heritage and Fairmount, in what used to be Rogers Video.

Looks mom and pop style, when it's open, I'll report back and let you know how it is.

Anybody remember willies? Man they made some good fries.

I do remember Willies. Was sad to see them go but recently found a pub called Mug Shotz that has very similar fries, good burgers and awesome wings. Wing nights are wed. and fri.

Really like Flippin Burgers on 10th near Kensington. Great choices for topping, buns etc.

CB's … I too went to Margarets and remember when they were a A+W ! Always loved the master/fries.

Rocky's. Really good burger but fries are just a tad greasy.

Riverstone Pub has a good prime rib burger. Decent fries and really good portion sizes for dollars spent.
