Anything Closed?

It sounds like a lot of people have turned today into the middle of a four day weekend. Is there anyone out there who had their office / business actually close down today? We considered it but decided to stay open with reduced staff. Sadly, being the boss means I have to stay and it's my staff that are out camping...lol.

Looked at the book and not a whole lot of service calls up today that's for sure, it would be nice if I could go home and finish unpacking or get started on some work around the house.

Retail/service industry - open today, closed early at 6, fully booked with people already calling to see if there's openings/cancellations.

I am working today, but pretty much no one else is so I am going to work on drawings and watch soccer on the boardroom :D

Some people don't realize that the 3 lanes into downtown via 10st bridge is still in effect though, funniest part of my day :rofl:

But then Tomorrow is my birthday and I don't have to go back to work until next Sunday! Wheeeee

My company is technically open today and tomorrow, we were given the choice between working today & taking tomorrow off, or, off today and work tomorrow, or, take a vacation day today and off tomorrow.
My boss is the only one in our department working today.

I am off all week and i am only using a half vacation day for Friday since we work on the parade route for Stampede.

It's an oddball week: open today, closed tomorrow, closed Friday morning but have to be here Friday afternoon or use half day of holidays :nut: Sure is peaceful though, I can get a lot of work done without interruptions. I'd rather save my holidays to get away when it's unpleasant to be here which I'm assuming won't be until school starts up again in fall :zzz:

No wonder Darren never called me back. I was trying to pay for my policy today.


Mercedes-Benz was open today business as usual. Tomorrow Parts/Service closed, Sales open 11-5.
