I have a whole bunch of hotwheels cars I don't want, still in packaging and i dont want to post them up on kijiji because some flea market guy will come to take them, i dont know anyone who has kids that needs a hand up with anything, and i dont want to just throw the box of them into some toy donation bin , i'd rather give them all to one child that doesnt have much but i cant seem to find anything. i have about 30 of them i dont need

the only problem with that is i dont want go to jail for luring. its not like it was 10 years ago when youd be praised for handing out free toys to little kids in the alley, nowadays you'd get handcuffed haha

how is that luring?

you give them the toys in a bag/box and be on your way

I definately don't look like my signature, lolol!

All the paranoid parents out there these days make me paranoid. Everyone is looking for lawsuits, media attention etc

Women in Need Society always is my first stop for stuff like that.

I don't think the Children's Hospital will take old Hot Wheels. They don't seem to have any at the moment in the little play area at the moment and they're kinda small, maybe a choking hazard or something.

These ones are actually not that old, they just came out last month (hot wheels releases new castings every month). they're just left overs from a case i bought that i dont want. still in the packaging too so no 'health concerns' can be present from having them handled etc

I know what you mean. I was thinking more along the lines of choking and slipping on them etc. Maybe someone on here actually works with those areas though. I don't so don't take my word for certain.

The only cars I've seen in the play area and Emily's Garden or whatever it's called are the larger wooden ones. Hot Wheels are quite a bit smaller than the toys I see in there walking by. Granted, I don't really pay attention, I just walk past on the way to work.

You could call the Drop In Centre and see if they have any families staying there right now. It's a great organization that does a lot of good.

I know a family down the road from me - just a single mom and two kids. Poor as shit. The boy never gets anything. I think he's like 11. Not sure if he's into hot wheels and stuff anymore, but could be a possibly destination. :dunno: They have it pretty bad.
