In the nexus 5 thread here, I thought I read that many owners were complaining that the kitkat update reduced their battery life. I hope this isn't the same as when retailers inflate the price prior to a sale.

It wasn't just Nexus 5's that were affected. I've got an Xperia Z, and it was AWESOME for battery life... until the kitkat update. Now I'm lucky if the poor thing can make it the whole day with lighter-than-normal use... :thumbsdow

Lollipop looks pretty sweet. A big jump from KK. I have a huge htc one max that gets surprisingly good battery life so Im anxious to see if it gets even better. Speed and security look to be upgraded which is big for me.

Wat? Flash was dropped back in 4.1 but I thought you can still sideload it even in 4.4.
