So fairly random question, but have a guy looking at renting my drift boat (I'm an ex-guide) for a day on the Bow. Dollar amount is right, but just trying that I'd be protected in the case that a) the trailer has an issue or b) he sinks the boat.

Is the random 'boat rental contracts' you can get online (google) worth the paper they're printed on, or if worse case scenario happened id be out a boat?

Thanks

Nothing I could find right out of the box - the editable form doesn't have Canadian options. I'd suggest copy/pasting different portions of the following (good stuff in both of them) into a word document. I think if they're filled out and signed it'll work to your advantage, at a minimum. I'd add the guys driver's lic. # along with his signature. I'm guessing from a legal standpoint, you'd need witnesses and some lawyer created forms - with that said, I wouldn't let someone haul my boat off with just a handshake and a wad of cash.
