What has everyone used to ship parts(transmission) to the US? Do you guys drive it down to Sweetgrass? Or just ship it from a terminal to terminal? I'm looking to send something down to Colorado.

Use uship.com.

You can have truckers bid on your itme, pick the one you like or the cheapest. I've shipped multiple parts/vehicles using this site.

I was sending my trans to be rebuilt, so I bought 2 rubbermaid bins. Bin1: Torque converter & bellhousing. Bin2: rest of transmission.

Shipped it with UPS and the even picked it up at my door. Surprised they didn't refuse it.

I've also shipped transmission via FedEx in one of those rubber tote bins. As long as it's not over 150lbs, and not past their girth limit (I think 165"), they will take it. Very reasonable prices also. An FR transmission might be past the limit though, unless you wanna take it apart.
