I have been debating on pulling the trigger on one of these as I think it will fit in my storage area on the trailer.

Do you know if these can be converted to work off a T-pipe on a trailer propane system?

I think so. There's a hose for connecting to the larger propane tanks, which I assume would work with what you're proposing.
